Built by Experience.
Made Without Shortcuts.
We're not trying to reinvent spiced rum. We just want to make it properly. Real botanicals, honest processes, and no cutting corners. Each bottle of our small batch rum is the result of genuine care about what goes in it.
Our Values
The things that matter to us when we're making spirits.
Reliability
Always there when you need it, in the field or in the glass.
Function Over Form
Beauty that serves purpose. Every detail engineered to perform.
Standards
We hold ourselves to one standard: get it right. Not good enough. Right. That applies to every ingredient, every batch, every bottle.
Precision
Getting it right the first time. No shortcuts, no compromises.
Authenticity
Honest about our craft, transparent about our process, genuine in our commitments.
Earned, Not Given
Quality that proves itself. The drink at the end of the journey you've actually taken.
"In the military you learn to appreciate kit that just works: nothing fancy, just reliable. That's what we're going for with our spirits. Function over flash. Quality that actually delivers."
The Journey
From the Caribbean rum base to the bottle. Every step is deliberate. Nothing is in there by accident.
Sourcing: The Right Ingredient From the Right Place
Real ingredients, sourced from where they are best. Vanilla from Madagascar, cinnamon from Ceylon, and a Caribbean rum base, because some things cannot be replicated. We work with suppliers who share our standards and keep the supply chain as short as we sensibly can.
The botanicals
- • Madagascan vanilla pods
- • Ceylon cinnamon
- • Ginger, orange peel, cloves
- • Cassia bark, allspice
Base, sweetness and finish
- • Caribbean rum base
- • Agave syrup
- • Bourbon barrel chips
Selection: Working With the Right Distillery
We chose our British partner distillery the way we chose everything else: on standards. Small batches, real botanicals given proper time, nothing artificial at any stage. Every batch is tasted multiple times before it leaves, and nothing ships until it is right.
The day we can do it ourselves, we will. Owning our own distillery is the long-term goal, and the standard will not move when we get there.
Crafting: How We Actually Make It
We steep real botanicals (Madagascan vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, ginger, orange peel, and warming spices) slowly in Caribbean rum, allowing each ingredient time to impart its true character. Agave syrup adds natural sweetness, and bourbon barrel chips layer in soft oak and warmth. See our full ingredients list.
The Craft
Traditional Foundation
- • Time-tested methods
- • Artisan attention to detail
Modern Standards
- • Rigorous quality control
- • Precise monitoring
- • Consistent results
- • Careful adjustment between batches
The Future: Barrel-Aged Expressions
Great spirits cannot be rushed. For future releases, we're exploring barrel aging with carefully selected casks - from charred American oak to sherry-seasoned European barrels. These aged expressions will take time. Each barrel will be monitored and tasted. We won't rush it.
Planned Barrel Selection
Vanilla, caramel, and spice development
Rich tannins and complex fruit notes
Port, sherry, and wine cask innovations
Our Commitments
The principles that guide how we make our spiced rum. No compromises.
UK-First Where Possible
British Packaging
Bottles from Croxsons, labels from Label Apeel, cartons from Harlequin. The packaging is British-made, by partners we name
Caribbean Rum
Some things have to come from elsewhere. We use quality Caribbean rum as our base.
Quality Over Quantity
No Shortcuts
We'd rather make less rum that's actually good than more that's mediocre
Continuous Improvement
Every batch is an opportunity to refine our craft and push for better
Small Batch
Keeping things small means we can actually pay attention to what we're making
