Iced Teas

7 recipes

This Field Manual holds 7 recipes in the iced tea family. Each one starts from the Long Island Iced Tea: small equal pours of several white spirits, usually vodka, gin, white rum and tequila with triple sec, lengthened with citrus and a topper. The cola gives the original the colour of iced tea, and there is no tea in it or in any of the others.

The variations change the topper and a liqueur, and the colour changes with them. Midori and lemonade turn it green, blue curaçao turns it blue, and Chambord turns it purple. The strength barely moves. Five 15ml pours at 40% is three UK units before anything else goes in, more than our Martini or our Margarita, and the long build hides it.
